I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. You can tell how much I like a character by how utterly horrible I am to them. I think Death Veil makes it pretty clear that Benton and Nicole are two of my favorites.
Apparently, you’re not supposed to talk too much about Skinwalkers. They’re one of those legends shrouded with so much mystery that my research only ever turned up the same terrifying facts again and again. But, when I set off in search of a final boss for my favorite pair to face, I just couldn’t go past it.
Even as I write this, I know I’m going to be missing Fort Wayward and its array of characters, both human and otherwise. And I hope a few of you will too. I know, I know. I’m kind of evil.
But remember, it’s a sign of my affection…
