Well, are you ready for the trip?

You know which one, the trip up to New York, to the Village.

It’s time to say hello to Alex and Timmy. Our old friends.

But there’s something wrong this time, isn’t there?

Yes, something’s quite wrong.

Shane knows it too.

Think about that. Think about what Shane is considering, about what has to be done.

I want to be perfectly honest with you, I’m trying not to think about it. Shane’s been through a hell of a lot, there’s no nice way to put it. That man’s seen more than most, and he’s not done yet.

Sure, he has Frank, also Carl, with him. He has Tom Daniels, but Tom’s a little more concerned with Victor, which is as it should be.

There is one little thing that has to be done, though, before they can take their little road trip up north. They have to take a cruise south. Not far, not far at all. You see, Pepperell, Massachusetts, is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Nashua, New Hampshire.

It’s an important trip. There’s an orphanage there that Alex has taken a special interest in.

You know what’s coming.

Alex is sending some friends, to visit that orphanage. He has a special place in his heart for orphans, just like Shane does.

So, come on, it’s time to get in the car. Time to see where the road takes us.
