I really enjoyed all three of these books however there were far too many “the brunette” “the blonde” “the redhead”.

Loved the story, just not the ending. I prefer a Happily Ever After ending, but still a very good book. Hard to put down.

Great reading, I wish the ending was a happy one, or at least a happier one. This leaves you with big loose ends, I don’t believe the story ended fully. Still good reading.

I power-read all 3 books of the trilogy in 4 days and am eager to see if there will be another to follow. The bonus scene seems to allude to unfinished business. Wonderful stories in a format that kept you turning pages. Please keep them coming!

Well written other than the constant use of “blonde,” “brunette,” and “redhead”- super annoying. I guess the ending is alluding to a possible 4th installment due to all the loose ties- *SPOILER ALERT* I thought the kids we being set free, yet no mention of that happening?!? And I felt the addition of the town riot and FBI involvement actually detracted from the main story. I found myself basically skipping long passages just to get back to the Alan and Copper show. I honestly think the story would have been better served to just focus on that, cutting all the extraneous Law and Order crap out. Started with high hopes, but ultimately a bit disappointed. Regardless, I think this author is talented and I would be willing to try his other works.

I loved the whole series. Each were very intriguing. With this last book, I was disappointed with the ending. I think it could have been better

An action packed sequel to a terrific series of books. I’m a bit saddened as I’m really going to miss these characters. Do yourself a favor though and give this collection a try, you’re “going to have so much fun!” ; D

This entire series was so distractingly scary. Those characters, what can I say about them except they scare me and make me fear the dark. The hands of Copper grabbing people around the ankles just terrifies me. Each time he shows up, I am more upset with the raspy voice and the horrible stench. A.I. Nasser has truly created a masterpiece of terror. I get pulled in and can not stop listening until the bitter end.An excellent way to spend an evening is reading about the horror on your own. This story is hard to forget. It stays with you,

I really enjoyed the slaughter series. Very scary. I felt I knew the characters and the horrors they went through. A I Nasser made you feel as if you were there. I couldn’t stop reading. If you enjoy a good scare I recommend that you read the slaughter series, but leave the lights on!

I enjoyed this entire series and felt like this third book could easily lead into a fourth. There where many loose ends and unanswered questions leaving me wanting a continuation. All these things carefully thought through, I expect a fourth book and will be disappointed if one never comes. I do recommend this book but do say they should be read in order. If you don’t, you’ll be lost. Good series Mr. Nasser.

This book kept me up until finished. And the I stayed up that night. A horror story from A small towns past continues through present day. Are we to pay for our ancestors sins? It appears so.

I read this three book series in three nights…yes it was that enjoyable! Each night I looked forward to continuing this crazy adventure in Melington and was sad to see it end. The story was unique and intriguing and I enjoyed it tremendously. My only complaint would be the ending…what about the children? That’s all I’ll say, don’t want to give anything away! Thank you Mr. Nasser for an enjoyable read!
