The haunting is often the imagination of the haunted…or is it?

For Charles Gottesman, old Mr. Sherman’s death sparks one of the wildest, weirdest adventures he’s ever had…

Upon Mr. Sherman’s death, Charles learns the rich old gentleman gave away all his money, leaving only his Victorian mansion and the huge library in the house. His will clearly stipulates the new owner must keep the library intact. Of course, with Mr. Sherman being dead, how would he know or even care about the library?

It isn’t until Charles buys the house and discovers someone has stolen items from the library that he understands the significance of keeping the library intact. Mr. Sherman’s letter to the new owner shares the secret of the library—every item in the library is haunted! But how can Charles ever imagine just how deadly the library keeper’s job is…or the blood bath that will follow if he fails to “protect and serve” according to Mr. Sherman’s will?

Every book he’s wrote has been great. This one is no different. I loved the idea of a library and antiques it kind of reminded me of the Friday the 13th series in some ways.

This was a good book. It was a unique story line. Only negative thing was that it ended abruptly. I felt it had the potential to continue! Overall, fun read!

I read rather voraciously and I stumbled upon the 4 theologies and this one very much had me start to finish. I loved all four but I can only hope to see these characters return in a full blown novel about the Library’s ghostly tenants. So if your up for a great read that is comparable to John Saul’s terror this will work. I warn you read all four they are to good to miss.

Well developed characters make or break a book. Mr Ripley brings his characters to life. The story moved along well. I did enjoy the extra scene which enhanced my read. I do not review by giving a synopsis of a book. I dislike when others do so. If you are a fan of the creepy, this is a must read. Keeping my eye out for more Mr Ripley.

I was thrilled when i learned the plot. Then enjoyed reading the story. After completing the trilogy I was left wishing it was longer with more grueling events involving the militalia.

Excellent story! I was looking for something different and I found it in Ron Ripley’s books. I am becoming a big fan. I love how he lets you read the first part free and if you want to know the rest you pay for it. That sounds like confidence to me and a big hurray to him. I could see this book on tv easy. But a really good read.

I enjoyed this book but I take it for granted that there is much more to this than meets the eye. I am hoping that there are more installments to the Sherman Library Trilogy. If not, then I guess that the other collections and ghosts that permeates the library will not be forthcoming. Too bad because, it really was an interesting book filled with scary characters. Liked it a lot!!

A novella with lots of fast paced action and dialogue so real that I actually laughed out loud. This story is not about books, if you were thinking that. No wasted space in this story, and a number of interesting relationships. Similar to Friday the 13th the Series, but more enjoyable.

After reading Ron Ripley’s “The Boylan House Trilogy”, I became a fan. So, I read “Sherman’s Library Trilogy” next. I was not disappointed. You can read a description of the book here on Amazon. The book was short, I liked the way it was laid out, which made for an enjoyable reading experience. The book is divided in to three books, with several short chapters within each one. This made the book flow very smoothly and made it very easy to read. The writing is very good. There were far less errors in this one then there were in “The Boylan House Trilogy”. The story moved quickly and never became boring. “Sherman”s Library” has many spooky moments and they are well told. There is some violence, but it was not graphic at all. There is not erotica or foul language. If you want a quick, spooky read, get this book, you will not be disappointed.

Sherman’s Library is a solid story that I thoroughly enjoyed. As a few other have said, I was also a little disappointed by the ending, but don’t let that deter you from reading this. The story is dark, and reminds of an old school horror movie. Overall it is definitely worth the price tag for the kindle edition. I will certainly be looking into more of Ripley’s books.

Great! It is a fast read but never a dull moment. I still like the Boylan House Trilogy better. This makes my fourth book/trilogy by Ron Ripley, worth reading.

This trilogy was so interesting that I started and finished the series in around five hours, in between doing housework. Every chance I had to take a break from the work I grabbed the book and continued reading. It was such a captivating book that I couldn’t leave it alone for long. I just had to keep reading. If you like good horror books that are honestly scary you will love this trilogy.

I truly enjoyed this Trilogy and was a little sad that it ended. I chose this rating because I felt it could have been extended into another book.A lot was missing in the last part that would explain what went on to get him to his daughters death. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a quick read.

I have said before that I do not, as a rule, read books in the horror genre. However, I have been pleasantly surprised to have stumbled upon yet another author capable of spinning a spooky tale with equal elements mystery, suspense and horror. ‘Sherman’s Library Trilogy’ is wonderfully readable and kept me turning the pages all the way through!Ron Ripley writes in such a way that allows you to empathize with the characters- That is, to feel their fear right along with them and fear for them as well!

I love this story! I’m so sad to have to say goodbye to Philip and God’s Man. This tale is horrific in some of the hauntings; terrifying as the protagonists come to terms with the inevitable; and filled with wonderfully sympathetic characters, even those you don’t like. I recommend this to any who like horror and/or supernatural stories. I know an author has to close the book on some characters and worlds, but I wish I could keep reading about Philip’s past, and Ellen and Charles’ future.
