The authors at Scare Street craft tales that whisper fear into the heart of every reader, bringing the supernatural to life.
Ron Ripley
Ron Ripley is an Amazon bestselling author.
He is a husband and father surviving in New England, a place that seems to be getting colder every day.
Ron grew up across from a disturbingly large cemetery where he managed to scare himself every night before going to bed. Mostly because of the red lights that people put in front of the headstones. Those things are just plain creepy to a kid.
Ron enjoys writing horror, military history and driving through the small towns of New England with his family, collecting books and giving impromptu lectures on military history to his family, who enjoy ignoring him during those dreadful times.
Sara Clancy
Growing up in the endless summer of Australia, Sara Clancy was always fascinated with the macabre.
It gave her an opportunity to satisfy her cravings for all things spooky and strange, and indulge in a world of mystery.
Currently living near a beach she never visits, she enjoys writing horror, spending most of her paychecks on books, and devotes a great deal of time and energy to fictional characters.
She also enjoys talking through movies but understands that’s a private indulgence.
A.I. Nasser
At the age of four, Ahmed I. Nasser’s parents decided that the best way to keep a hyperactive child occupied was to teach him how to read and constantly bombard him with books.
Since then, the world of imagination has constantly consumed him. He quickly decided that the only way to feel fulfilled was to spend his time writing one story after the other, even opting out of a career as a pediatrician, despite ten years of struggling through med school.
Influenced by Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, and Terry Pratchett, he has been writing since the age of 12 while traveling the world with his family.
Now, finally settled in Egypt, he divides his time between teaching Middle School English Literature and finding the best ways to scare his family and friends.
David Longhorn
David Longhorn was born in North East England long before the internet, but fortunately, they had plenty of books in those days!
He enjoyed reading all sorts of facts and fiction in childhood and also became a huge fan of old horror movies and the BBC’s Ghost Stories for Christmas on television, despite losing a lot of sleep as a result.
He went on to get a degree in English Studies, which somehow led him to a career in local government, which in turn took him into a recording studio where he provided voice-overs, read news, and did a lot of other audio stuff.
It’s been that kind of life, really – a bit random but quite interesting. All the while he was reading and writing supernatural fiction, influenced by both the classic tales of writers like Ambrose Bierce, M.R. James, and Edgar Allan Poe, but also by modern masters such as Stephen King.
He hopes to write a lot more about the world of the dead and undead, assuming they let him…
Ian Fortey
Ian Fortey comes from Canada and has never seen a werewolf, a vampire, or a Frankenstein in either doctor or monster form that he knows of. He started writing comedy online in 2007 but has been a fan of horror for about as long as he can remember.
Although he enjoys some of the literary classics and titans of the genre like Clive Barker, Dan Simmons, and Neil Gaiman, he's also unusually enamored of B-movie horror and cult classics of the horror film genre.
When not immersed in ghoulish and off-putting worlds of terror he's either cooking, walking the dogs, or being foolish on social media.
